Matt Birskovich is a musician and instructor, celebrating his 34th birthday this year. Visually blind since the age of two, he is a gifted classical guitar player who has taught hundreds of students and continues to teach and compose music when he has the strength.
Matt has been diagnosed with Leio Mayosarcoma, a rare cancer in his sinuses that requires expensive treatment. His friends and family have raised enough money to cover part of the initial surgery, but more funds are needed, especially for follow-up chemo therapy
Our friend has changed and touched so many lives, it's our turn to help save his.

I received my BFA in Illustration and Entertainment Art at Cal State Fullerton, following the foundational teachings of the old masters and traditional animation. I have been active in informal education and working as a freelance artist creating for various industries (film, red carpet events, non-profits, and galleries). I discovered my love for watercolor and painting faces working at Disneyland as a sketch artist. Combining my passion for animals and portraiture, I have commissioned pieces for animal lovers near and far.
I met Matt and his guide dog, Nassau, my first year of college. He immediately amazed me with his ability to speak multiple languages and his humor. It's amazing to hear Matt's classical work verses his metal, and even on occasion, banging out song requests on the piano at my birthday parties. He is truly one of the most talented individuals I've ever met.
